I think Roz is actually my sister-in-law in disguise!
Get revenge Ethan! No one knows she’s there yet! She could be in a crate to Abu Dhabi by nightfall! Or is that cats?
Unforunately, the cats tend to come back, the very next day.
Cut out her heart! …just to be safe.
You can’t cut out what’s not there. But well … just to be safe, take a knife and have a look…
I thought it was a goner, too.
Aww, she’s learnt to be just like her sister. Wonder what Robin’s going to do?
Even having read through the entirety (as far as I can tell) of the archives, I can’t remember any mention of Roz. Given, my memory is terrible…
Even more upsetting is the fact that I can’t seem to find her mentioned on the wiki, meaning I can’t refresh my memory with wiki-ease ):
Click her name in the list of tags under the strip. You will be given all of her appearances in chronological order.
That is an awesome feature which I did not know about, so thank you for pimpin’ it.
Even better than wiki-ease! Thank you, Sir Walksalot
Further disappointment, however; earlier Rox strips are not ringing any bells! Either I managed to skip over them, or my memory is worse than I feared.
It’s official: I hate Roz.
I second that Emotion
Thirding it. I don’t think this is an arc I will enjoy, and that’s never happened before. :/
Yeah, welcome to the club.
She’s pissed me off in every. Single. Strip.
Get the quicklime, I’ve got the shovels.
Posting for the very first time to say this – Am I the only one who initially thought Roz was a little old lady? With the granny glasses she looks more like Robin’s mom. I just don’t buy her as “young” with this character model.
you know is sad I have a friend that was a “cam whore” and even went to all the cons as one… even Dragon
Yeah, this is…no. Just moving the boxes is bad enough, but boxing up his stuff, no. And moving in without telling anyone until it’s done, over the objections of the roommates(who had plans for the room) and the owners(who hate you) is a [censored] move. Plus the joyous cockblocking. And she doesn’t even seem repentant. Someone needs to throw her out, fast.
Retribution needs to happen. Roz must pay somehow.
Wow, a character I actually hate more than Faz now… that’s an amazing accomplishment you’ve achieved there, Roz.
Its all those 3 lettered named characters…..
Hummm… You know, I’d suggest hooking up Roz with Faz as a fitting punishment, but of course, that would just give Faz an excuse to come over to the house and hang out. That would never do.
Weirdly I heard that saying recently (“better to seek forgiveness after than to seek permission before”), but I can’t remember where
lurvs me some NCIS
I use roz’s reasoning whenever I want my friends to do something there parents would not approve of
To everyone who thought I was wrong about Roz putting all of Ethan’s things into the totes:
I told you so.
Ha! Ethan wouldn’t leave all his toys in totes in that big empty room for very long. Of course he already had them out.
I am chastened.
But surely he has a wall of totes *somewhere*. I mean, it’s only one house, with only so many flat level surfaces, and there are even other humans (like the house’s owners) who likely have the audacity to want to compete with Ethan’s toys for valuable space.
I’m sure. I know I have a couple of closets full of totes filled with stuff I don’t have display room for right now. I have an entire wall of G.I. Joe and it’s not even every
G.I. Joe toy I own!
Well, atleast she did not randomly throw them together…Love how the Ravage toy looks like he wants to get out of the bag and scratch her eyes out!
Surely she lives outside of the reign of the Drama Tag.
I bet we find out other wise soon.
You know, normally in comics, TV, books, movies, etc. I just take characters as they come. I always had the attitude of “that’s what happens in the story.” I never got the insane message board hatred of certain characters, as though the fans had a personal stake in what happened or had to deal with those personalities themselves.
Right now I am getting it a little bit, because I hate Roz.
Darn, right up ’till the point where you commented about your distaste for Roz I was actually going to reply, “Finally, someone who thinks exactly as I do about this.”
In case you had not guessed, I don’t hate any of the characters (though I don’t have any great love for Ultracar) and wouldn’t be particularly angry at any of them if they did these things to me.
Then again maybe I’m just a huge pushover, or just too Canadian for my own good (I operate under the assumption that a “sorry” no matter how insincere makes everything better).
You’re not the only one, although I’d be extremely angry with them if they tried any one of the majority of the shenanigans the author pens so well. I enjoy each of the characters immensely (see, they’re fictional), and every time someone goes on a bizarre, highly-specific hate rant on a character (often on a rather minute slight), I secretly hope for them to have some character development of their own.
The phrase is “It is EASIER to ask for forgiveness than permission”, not “better”
Cam-whores are not known for their way with words.
While it’s true that your “correction” is a quotation of common use, Roz’s line is Rule 18 from NCIS.
Oh god, she even used the word “chillax.” You are terrible for making such a hate-able character, Willis
Imma kill her
Need help hiding the body?
Aww, i thought she got Put on a bus.
I think I`m in love. ^_^
With a cam whore… >_>
For some reason, Roz is voiced by Guerrero from Human Target in my head.
And it’s awesome.
Awesome? You’ve somehow managed to pervert Guerrero in my mind! I dodn;t think that was possible!
… I think I’m the only one who noticed the NCIS reference in there, since “It’s better to ask forgiveness than permission” is one of Gibbs’ rules.
You’re kidding, right?
Allog with my very strict code of honor being broken, this that phrase is one of my biggest pet peeves
