Of course it's animated. All the Transformers cartoons have been animated. That's what makes them cartoons. Okay, I get that it's to differentiate it from the live action movies (though as CGI the Transformers themselves were still animated), but the movie franchise and show were no more than tangentially related. Did they think we'd see the cartoon and mistake it for the movies somehow? Still, great show. I really did like Animated, though the title still bugs me.

Of course it’s animated. All the Transformers cartoons have been animated. That’s what makes them cartoons.
