     He said he went INTO law school, and implies that he had to drop out.
     So yes, still impressive, but 22′s about the age a lot of college alums tend to start law school.

   Joe should tell his story about how he was in college, studying for something he didn’t even like until a girl revealed to him a glaringly obvious love for engineering he had, then that girl killed herself to save the life of his whiny-ass moral-having friend, at which point Joe’s other best friend was kidnapped by Aliens and mentally tortured until she was driven to practical suicide, and abducted by the government for like four years.
   Would make Jacob’s problems seem like they failed depressing school.
   And yes, I worked extra-hard to make this a run-on sentence.

     That sentence was actually so far as I can tell not run-on, you used your commas and conjunctions properly.
