Ugh, I wish I could justify to myself laying out $60 for, essentially, an accessory set. Maybe Hasbro could release just the new bits as an online exclusive? HasbroToyShop.com still has the original Animated Voyager Prime in stock; I’m sure they’d like to move that out…

If this ever comes out stateside, it’s so bought (and the new Bumblebee, as well).

I would like to say that I’m glad you are a collector, because it means that I don’t have to be. I can love everything TF vicariously through your blog posts whenever I have a spare moment without having to make the time or space for all you do. Thank you. I don’t think I would enjoy TF so much if it weren’t for you.

I’m sure the remaining molds will turn up in Hasbro’s line up eventually; They’ve already paid for the development after all. It’ll just be several years after they’re relevant, painted bizarre off-model colors and named after other characters entirely.

…I’ll still buy them.

Do the parts still combine with the Deluxe in vehicle mode? I need to figure out which Animated Optimus Prime I need to hunt down so I don’t have to deal with ridiculous transparent insanity.

Ah well – it’s just as well that Hasbro didn’t release the deluxe wingblade OP, because then I would have had to get it for the jet pack, and then I would have had TWO random useless deluxe classes hanging around – one for the ‘toon accurate axe, one for the jet pack.

Oh lord, Takara why?

I don’t know if it’s partially a result of being photographed, but it appears that the metallic parts and the translucent parts work in tandem to create the worlds biggest eyesore.
