O HAI ALL THE MES
In the past week I’ve amassed four new Ravages. It wasn’t my intent! It just happened!
First was Shattered Glass Ravage. Why I own him is fairly obvious.
Later during BotCon I picked up a Beast Wars Shadow Panther. A black and yellow Cheetor redeco, he was originally a Takara release, but Hasbro imported him and sold him on their website for a while. They couldn’t get the name “Shadow Panther,” so they called him “Tripredacus Agent.” Later, they’d do another Tripredacus Agent out of Transmetals 2 Cheetor who was supposed to be Ravage, included with a bio that insinuated that Shadow Panther was also Ravage in one of his aliases/disguises. And then years later Beast Wars Sourcebook said Shadow Panther was a different guy who just has the exact same personality as Ravage so I’m not sure why they bothered, but screw that. He’s Ravage.
After getting home, Graham found me a Legends movie-style Ravage. He is tiny and adorable and due to the jointing in his paws, he is excellent at waving. He is a waving fiend. Legends Ravage, the tiniest of movie Ravages, is easily the best of all of the movie Ravages. I suggest you get him.
And finally, the day after I picked up the newest redeco of the movie Deluxe mold. He’s all right. Nothing special. He just soothes my OCD, is all.
I finally opened my double-punch and my god is he pretty! Like I said when I first saw him, if the colors clashed any less, he just wouldn’t work. The black with the pink, green and orange clash so beautifully that it just comes together. I had been looking for energon skoponok, but I’m glad that this is the first time I’ve gotten my hands on the mold.
Oh, and I’m waiting to see a SG movie legends ravage custom. That guy is just to cute.
Man I want that Legends Ravage. I just never seem to find the cool Legends class here in Canada anymore. It really sucks. I never found that cool Legends Cosmos for exemple. There’s ton of boring Starscream, Optimus and Jetfire and Bumblebee two pack with that other no-name. And the twins. All the boring ones from the movie.
Isn’t the missile that comes with movie Soundwave the tiniest of the movie Ravages, technically?
So…what does SG Ravage think abour Deep Sea Ravage?
So, do you have a STT Ravage yet?
I’m surprised that one of the DX Ravage repaints isn’t in SG colours yet. It seems like an easiar repaint than having to come up with another variation on the black and silver colour scheme. Maybe they’re put off because they think having the shattered glass decepticon logo on the figure will confuse people.
I think Hasbro stays away from SG stuff on purpose because that’s one of the few areas that Fun Publications has free reign.
Legends Ravage is awesome! I hardly ever buy Legends, but when he was announced “I have to get this” was all that was running through my mind.
