Woof! I have too many books in the living room! Please, someone fix this!
I think it’s a testament to the growing sensibilities of the world that my books arrived so problem free. This was the first of my four books I’ve done that hasn’t been held up stupidly in customs. The first book that said “BRIGS BACK THE EIGHTIES” on the boxes was flagged for customs. The second book that said “PLUS THE DRAMA TAG” on the boxes gathered suspicions. The third book that said “ROMMIES OR HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE BEER” was held up for weeks in a warehouse somewhere.
But boxes that say “SHORTPACKED IS TOTALLY GAY”? Totally fine! Hooray! Civil progress! Gay folks, you can now marry.
Anyway, back to waiting for Cyclonus and Punch/Counterpunch to arrive.

I placed my order this morning. Splurged for the ‘spensive version too since I won’t be at SDCC this year to stare at you awkwardly as you sign it in person. Yeah, you make me a little star-struck. Or your bright orange shirt shorts out the social interaction part of my brain. Probably a bit of both. Anyway…
Order placed. Eagerly awaiting my book. Has it shipped yet? How ’bout now? Now? Still waiting. How about now?
They only hustled it through so you wouldn’t sue them for discrimination.
It’s sad that that might be true =(
Man, I’m gonna name my next book “Black people”!
There’s a joke here somewhere about how black action figures are usually shortpacked…
I preordered. Can’t wait to get them!
*sigh* FunPub won’t ship my Punch/Counterpunch until AFTER BotCon, just because I didn’t splurge and buy a bright orange Cyclonus at the same time. Excuse ME for saving my money to go to JoeCon, FunPub. Seeshh…
Sorry, rant over. Send me my gay book now please!
Would it be possible to bring me my copy at Botcon rather than ship it. It’ll save you money and I get it earlier.
If it’s a hassle (I mean, it is Botcon. We’re too busy being fire hazards), I’ll easily wait for it to come when I get back.
I’m absolutely bringing some books (I’ve learned from past BotCons to have some with me), and, well, I know who you are and what you look like, so that won’t be a problem. Consider it done!
Hmmm … I think I may finally introduce myself to you then, in the chance you’re still carrying some Totally Gay books.

I look forward to picking one up at Connecticon.
Best post ever! So many less than threes! IMO, your comic is the new standard reading for being a gaygeek. Thanks for cartooning my tribe so well!
The guys down at customs were just afraid to look inside the boxes. Made them down right uncomfortable even being near the boxes. Silly guys!
On a related note, all the terrorists that read Shortpacked just found out how to bypass customs. Thanks Willis, you just helped the terrorist win.
