I’m not particularly familiar with the martian society in DCU let alone DCAU. Did the martians have similar concepts of masculinity and femininity so that there were men for a manhunter to chase. Or would a manhunter’s role be more limited, like chasing down that John Carter guy from the Edgar Rice Burroughs novels. I mean as the man typically used in manhunter is, I believe, more a species notation, if he was supposed to hunt say, martian criminals, wouldn;t that simply make him a martian hunter.

Don’t mind me, I’m just having fun with language.

‘Manhunter’ was his job title back on Mars, at least in the comics. I don’t see why he couldn’t have hunted men on Mars in the DCAU as well

Having only seen the pilot so far, I don’t really mind Rarity that much. And I find it interesting that the fashion-obsessed pony is the one that represents Generosity. I find Pinkie Pie kind of irritating though.

J’onn J’onzz actually spent several decades as a top-notch police detective, during which time he probably hunted a lot of men.

I prefer Twilight Sparkle to Rainbow Dash, but she’s in the second assortment, so I’m a bit less worried about finding one.

Basically, the only one I don’t like as a character is Rarity, which is frustrating, because I’m a sucker for anything modeled off G1 Glory.
