Fourty bucks?! Ouch.

Oh right. That's why I stopped buying Transformers.

It pains me to see such impressive engineering going into such a hideous visual design.

The last time I bought a Transformer it was still the 90s.

How much is this guy, and where can I get him.

That's a pretty impressive toy, but I am not a huge fan of the movie line period, and Starscream even less so.

The Thundercracker V. version was nice, just because I could make him do this: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1148/1248121952_ac771713df_o.jpg

(The face and color scheme just look so much better. Honestly the tribal plane tats version of Screamer just looks bad, like Hajime Katoki got a hold of him. Someone needs to stop that dude from putting tats and decals all over giant robots. It just doesn't look good!)

And speaking of SDCC, odds on me being able to easily and comfortably get a Blaster from Hasbrotoyshop?

I'm guessing 1 in 10, or whatever odds there are of non F5ing Mattycollector toy purchasers are only doubled against me.

I really want that Blaster. Because Marvel Comics Blaster RULED. In my mind he has Samuel L Jackson's voice.

Well, stuff in Japan is more expensive by default, and they are painting him extensively. But, yeah, pretty expensive.

Thing I forgot to mention: Leader Starscream was designed by the same dude who designed most of the other Masterpiece toys. So it's pretty neat that he's also coming out as a Masterpiece. (in Japan)

Tell me I'm wrong, yes or no: Takara is going to sell a repainted version of the same mold without the 'tattoos' for _twice_the_price_.

I'd rather a version of the mold that remembers the whole 'robots in disguise' thing, but damn!
