Dear god! I’ve been reading this site for years now, and this is the first time I’ve ever slowed down enough to see his name is Galasso, not just Glasso. How many other names have I been misreading?

Unless you meant “meringue” I’m not sure what that was supposed to mean…
He meant that the pies marred his vision.

At first I couldn’t see the pie plate, just the pie filling. Which made for an interesting thought process.
I didn’t either, but I just assumed that it was a pie, probably because it was Ultracar that threw it.
And in panel two the pan looks like a ponytail.
He’s got a nice hobo beard
