You’re using the wrong kind then. You need the kind with razor blades for the knife. They’ll cut anything and you won’t even notice when you chop off your finger with ‘em until some red stuff starts getting all over the place.
Yeah, I’ve cut the corner off my finger-tip before with a box-cutter. One mistake, if you’re not being careful enough, and it’ll do much more damage than a “paper-cut.”
You do know that some of the 9/11 hijackers used box cutters right? In the hands of the right crazy people box cutters can accomplish some pretty scary stuff.
I read your earlier comment and had to laugh. I watched an old co-worker literally amputate his finger with a box-cutter before (accidentally, of course). It makes me wonder what you actually consider to be a box-cutter, because it cannot be anything similar to the actual article.
The boxcutters worked because passengers were complacent. Up to that point, hijackers went to Cuba or Syria and escaped. Once the guys on the Pennsylvania flight understood what was going on, the hijackers never stood a chance. That can’t happen again, case in point the since attempts (shoes and underwear) where passengers overpowered the terrorists.
Oh, lord, not the box cutter! Not those thin blades that are so wimpy and thin you’ll give yourself a paper cut, at best!
Seriously, it’s good for cutting tape and nothing more.

I about did that. I had to get Dermabond put on the wound, and it looked vile for weeks.

Did that with an Xacto knife. I was cutting a template into a desk, went to the other room to get a drink, noticed the trail of blood behind me.
pretty sure you can also hijack four planes and cause an international incident leading to thousands dead with them…

I hope, since the time you made this comment, you have watched Breaking Bad, and learned something..
You can mess someone up with a damned box cutter!
Finally, Ragnal can eschew his personal experience with boxcutters and learn real facts about them from a television show. /:)
It’s far from anywhere close to being on my “to do” list.
And no, I wasn’t aware the hijackers used box cutters. :/ Shows what I know…

What? That’s crazy, I make cardboard armor at work at LEAST once a week.
“giggle” that’s funny.
Wait.
So.
He’s had those this whole time? And never decided to break out before this?
Holy crap I just remembered Galasso has a daughter and like, maybe even a family or something.
…
His daughter will not miss him and no other family has been established.
