I’m not sure why, but I happen to think Mike is awesome. He’s an asshole, but Mike has a rather strong sense of ethics. They just happen to be unique to him. Also, he’s there when people need him. He’s one of the most reliable characters, too.
I could spout more I guess. But uh. Basically? I like Mike.
Mike’s an irrepressible asshole who holds everyone else up to their own moral standards, and abuses them when they let themselves down. He does this because he knows it will hurt them more than just telling them he boned their mothers. With his penis. For a nickel.
I don’t think it’s Mike who has a strong sense of ethics.
But the thing about Mike doing that is that it causes pain for others in the short term, but in the long term doing that actually helps make them better people.
Infinite Crisis was a DC crossover event a few years ago. It’s indirect sequel, Final Crisis, is what led to Batman dying.
Dunno why the tag isn’t Final Crisis. Maybe Willis messed up the titles? They are sort of all samey. DC has been using the “Crisis” title to denote big events since “Crisis on Infinite Earths” in the 80s. It’s become their codeword for “Shit’s about to get real.”
I remember one of the theories was Mike’s superpower being the ability to read Minds, which simultaneously makes him a bitter asshole (knowing what everyone is thinking all the time is bound to make you bitter quickly), and also gives him the ability to channel that assholicness to where it hurts the most.

Everyone does!
Mike is awesome in an I-would-hate-him-in-real-life sort of way.

In other words, he’s an asshole because sometimes somebody has to be one
Well. And because it’s FUN!
Let’s face it, Mike is Randal Graves of the Walkyverse. XD
Omg possibly the most truth ive heard ever
Whoah. Big moment for Ethan.
I’ll say! This is the first time his eyes haven’t been vertical ovals!
what’s with the “infinite crisis” tag? It’s been on the last few comics and I can’t figure what it could mean…

That’s kinda scary when you think about it. I mean the whole “I always know” thing.
What, like he never went into the stock room? He’d have to be blind not to know.

Did Mike just show actual signs of CARING ABOUT ETHAN?
Either that, or he’s remembering his time as a Semme agent.
Mike is the asshole Shortpacked! deserves, but not the one it needs.
