    Mike’s a twisted idiot. I get that now. He’s not wise. His relationship wasn’t, I think, ever a sham. What was a sham was his insisting it was.

    You know, I think I’m finally “getting” Mike. The one thing that’s constant about him, sober or drunk, is that he never seems to think of himself. He only acts for others, either to help or (more often) to harm them. But I don’t think he ever did something just for himself.

    Going back in time in this strip is so interesting. Mike is angry. Mike is never angry unless he has feels. He has feels for Amber, and wants it to be more than just a Sham. He really cares about her and can no longer hate her, and thus he is angry she has broken him.

    Now I have feels. Damn you Willis.
