Since you’re so big on self-improvement, how about you spend some serious time improving your critical reading skills? Because that’s a terrible interpretation of someone’s positive comment about how much people could accomplish if they never listened to petty things like “You can’t be an engineer because you’re a girl,” or “You can’t succeed as an artist.” I mean, really, you weren’t even funny or insightful, you were just sour and pedantic. You’re bloody well wrong, but I have grave doubts you’ll do anything because of it, or to remedy it.
AMAZI-GIRL is immune to criticism … if only more people who needed to be were so. Also the weak ankles / leg shaking, show that she has a healthy sense of self preservation which she is ignoring.
Unfortunately those without sense (its not all that common [just another oxymoron]) or any logic end up with the reins of power.
Just look at CEO /CFO or the previous president [grade-school teachers should have lynched him when they had the chance] and most likely the airhead wackjob you will get as the next one.
Amazi-Girl: In WAY over her head as far as her physical capabilities go, but somehow she’s got a plan to free her “unrepentant asshole” of a boyfriend from the sticky confines of a giant mutant frosted honeybun. So she’s making her move. Anyone who’s not been in a situation like that, towards the outer edge of their physical abilities, but they’ve got this plan for success, is missing out.
I think its important that we all note that she is IMMUNE to criticism, not that she can’t hear it or ignores it. I prefer to interpret that ability as meaning that she will never be harmed by criticism, without impairing her ability to be aware of it or take it to heart.
I’m just a glass half full kinda guy (and immune to criticism!)
its a sucky power unless….is it amazing girl immune to criticism on space?
We should wait for her to be on space, but my money is on YES.
I guess it is “in space” :p
No, he was referring to the spacebar, of course/
No it’s about space as a topic of discussion.
I personally think that this is a terrific power and catch-phrase. Imagine what we could all do if we had it.
Completely fail to ever improve ourselves, because we will never admit that we’re wrong? Sounds great to me!

Hear, hear.
Thank you for that.
Jeez dude, glass half empty much?
And apparently everyone’s brains were immune to sarcasm. Which is amazing seeing as sarcasm is Mike’s main mode of speech.
If we all had that power there would be a lot more shitty movies.
AMAZI-GIRL IS IMMUNE TO CRITICISM… and also common sense and logic…

Lens flare on her crotch.
Just sayin’.

I like it! =)
As do I. Hear, hear.
LENS FLARE!!
… But not immune to high-velocity shock damage, I venture to say.
D’aww, Mike’s trying to stop her. How loving.
Though I think by this point anything that isn’t a punch in the face or a kick in the groin from Mike is “loving.”
That’s it! he’s trying to drive her away to Keep her safe!! if he didn’t cared about her he woudn’t be doing anything!!
I still love that last panel – its very Michael Bay.
…and somewhere in the world, a raging Transformers nerd dies.
He would be giving advice like “Try to get eaten, you might give it indigestion”.
I feel like that was a reference to Dina
And that power finally comes in 100% useful! GO AMBER GO
