uhm, cliff notes please? i looked it up, it could be a vague reference to a chick walky liked. or his sister, but its been almost 1 day saince i started reading it, and ahm confused on who was and was not alive/in the comic at that point..
Not so much to do with the strip specifically as it does to do with the whole “recount” fiasco in the 2000 elections and Mike clearly having stolen the ballots here.
Unfortunately, my gag was undermined by not only accidentally leaving a 1 off of 11 in the month but also getting the date of that year’s Election Day COMPLETELY WRONG.
On behalf of all those confused, I am very deeply sorry.
me neither. does it really matter though? Mike was an asshole and stuffed the ballots or stole the ballots or whatever, but he fixed the election. Why do we need to bring in the other comics?
Ooh, Mike is good. He’s not only attempting to destroy the lives of everyone in the world, he’s trying to piss off an entire new dimension of people who only look in on his universe as cosmic voyeurs. You know, the fans.
I suppose this proves Mike hates Robin more than Ethan, he sacrificed the opportunity to force Ethan into an incredibly awkward situation so that Robin’s proposition wouldn’t come into effect…
I feel kinda sorry for Robin. This is the only thing she really ever cared about in congress, the only thing she really put effort into. Panel 3 is just sad.
Mike isn’t in the 1/20/2000 strip of It’s Walky. I looked it up.
It explains a lot.

Well.
That’s interesting.
To me, considering that having only read up to here in SP! and having read none of the other strips I have no idea what’s going on.

It’s a joke referring to the presidential election where George W. Bush was elected, I believe
Mike. -.- Gods! I was looking forward to that, danggit!
…
I love you anyway. Stupid emotions.

yeah, making out w/ Thad, Ethan would hate that…

I really hope Mike leaves at some point. He’s not even funny anymore. He’s just a never-ending pool of suffering.
