I know we’re supposed to see this as morally questionable, but is she honestly going to do jack shit for them even if they do send her loads of cash? She’s pretty much scamming them. And that’s awesome.

I’ve always to run for congress on the most pro-corporate platform imaginable, get millions in campaign donations, then just throw it in an offshore account and skip the country. Actually, I’m not even sure if I”d have to run away. I mean, a donation is a donation, right?

Lol, NAMBLA. That’s a joke in itself.

For those unaware, NAMBLA is the North American Man-Boy Love Association.

Basically an enabling group for pedophiles.

With that said, why are they not out of business yet? Or in prison, for that matter, at the very least?

I wanna say in the U.S. your right to assembly and freedom of speech covers themes like that so long as none of what they’re about actually happens. So ‘basically’ as long as pedophilia in that group stays theoretical it’s completely legal for them to exist and lobby their cause. Don’t quote me on this, it’s based on info from when I asked my dad the same question.

that is correct, just as lobbies for the legalization of marijuana are legal and as groups who have gotten any other law that was controversial at the time passed, NAMBLA may lobby for legislation so long as the basic idea is that until (and lets hope that is a theoretical until at least from my perspective) such legislation is passed they do not participate.
