I wonder if Willis plans to redo or revisit this one in light of Dirge, Thrust, and now it would seem, Thunderkracker being released at retail? Probably not. Showing Duncan being pleased — even smugly so — at getting what he wanted wouldn’t be as funny as watching him overact to not being able to get what he wanted.
But I can sympathize. Bot Con sets were and still are WAY out of my price range. I never got angry as ol’ Duncan did, but I WAS disappointed that Hasbro apparently wasn’t going to make retail versions just so Bot Con goers could keep the resale value of their sets. But I contented myself with Acid Storm, and hoped for Sunstorm.
I’m glad that Hasbro has decided enough time has passed to finally complete the set at retail. And since I haven’t really heard many Bot Con goers cry foul over it, I’m happy to see that most folks are happy about it. I’d love to see what Ethan thinks of it all. But Willis hasn’t really mentioned the new Seekers.
Just wanted to mention, even in 2013: as much of a pain he’s been in Ethan’s butt, I like Duncan. He complains a lot, but aside from that he seems like to want to be Ethan’s friend. It was kinda bumming seeing how Ethan left him behind in the latest comics but it’s also nice to know he ends up married and with kids. People assume these types are forever alone but if he can find happiness, in a fictional work of art, then hey maybe I can too.
guess prop 469 didnt pass after all….cancer and it couldnt have happened to a nicer guy
ARREST HIS CANCER!

His (hypothetical?) wife is cute. That is all.
For the record, I agree. She’s freakin’ adorable.
I wonder why she married him. He must have some sort of redeaming qualities or something. (kinda doubting it, though)
He’s a god in bed. He’s like a G-spot idiot savant.
Talk about holding a grudge. I wonder how he is with Energon, Kiss Players or the Beast Within.
But Thundercracker WAS available at retail…although it was like 3 years after this comic came out.
Duncan has determination
