Didn’t the seasonal help quit after Faz went after them with “AIDS-sniffing” dogs?
They did, but then the cast of Scrubs took over. I could actually see JD and Turk attempting seppuku.
If you said “sensei-chan” in my Japanese class, I can imagine they’d just fail you on the spot.
That’s kind of the point of Rick
Sensei-chan? Lol much.
Well, Sensei could be used as a noun…
…of course, in actual Japanese culture, anyone respected enough to be referred to as Sensei is too respected to be followed by -chan.
Shouldn’t Ronnie’s line be, “I’m gonna need a BIGGER mop.”
Sensei-chan? Rick is Tomo?
…
CANNOT UNSEE
Heh, Sensei-chan is like a stealth insult if he actually knew any japanese. “oh, my honorable sissy teacher!”
I think part of Ninja Rick’s point is that he DOESN’T actually know any Japanese.
Also would you REALLY translate “sensei-chan,” as “my honorable sissy teacher?” ‘Cause really, if so, then your own Japanese (or possibly English) is also pretty terrible.
That’s a bit mean.
Did they just kill off the entire cast of scrubs?
That’s what I’m wondering. Looks like it.
…Did anyone else think of how that last panel could have a an ENTIRELY different tone if Galasso’s line were given a slight emphasis?
