I’m not gay and am not very good in the fashion department, but I can do shoes, so let’s see here…..both shoes are cute. Robin and Amber should get them.
Ethan is a crappy gay friend. They need someone like me, a crossdressing gay friend who knows how cute those shoes are and needs someone to tell me how cute my high heel white patent Mary Janes are.
The high heel white patent Mary Janes do sound really cute, but I’ll but they show every little scuff mark and fleck of dirt.
I have some bright red patent heels that are really cute (and I constantly have to watch for scuff marks).
I dunno, I imagine a lot of gay friends wouldn’t willingly wear a t-shirt saying “gay friend” on it. I mean, I would, and so would most of my gay friends, but presumably ones who wouldn’t exist.
I wonder if there are people who nerd out about shoes. “Oh, those New Balance 474s suck. They need to bring back the 473s, they had a much more vibrant color scheme and lasted longer.”
I agree with that decision by the seasonal employees… It was best to get out of there before the whole thing about them both having communist pirates with aids blew up and tarnished both their and the store’s reputation and dignity. However, everything bad could have been avoided if we follow that one OotS rule: Characters with names are a lot harder to kill than no-name NPCs.
MuaHAHAHAHAHA!!!
No but seriously, you’re forgetting about all the girls and all of the straight people who comment when Amber and Robin do sexy things.
I am of the belief that the internet as a whole includes a greater than average percentage of homosexuals making the ratio here unsurprising.
Why do I have a feeling they have a shelf full of shoes that they never wear. I think girls just simply collect them just like geeks storing stuff on their shelves.
I don’t collect shoes like that, and I happen to have both two X chromosomes, and boobs.
I find a good, comfy, not-hideous pair for each designated, necessary use. I have a comfy pair of “professional” black flats that I got for one job, a tough pair of work boots I had to get for my current job, a pair of ballet flats from when I took dance classes, and… that’s mostly it. When I was a kid, growing up in Florida, I would have like, TWO PAIRS of shoes – a pair of leather sandals that I would wear the hell out of until they literally fell apart, and a set of cheap sneakers because stupid gym class/driver’s ed required “closed toe” shoes.
Not all women collect footwear.
I do, on the other hand, have a large collection of books I rarely read. Some of which I have had for years and have either completely forgotten about until I reread them, or have yet to read because I bought them ’cause they sounded cool and/or were cheap at the time…
Also, a bunch of Harry Potter toys that I don’t play with, that either I or family got me just because I was a Harry Potter nerd (in fairness, most of the licensed toys I HAVE played with, turned out to be disappointing anyway, so if it means keeping it MIB… well, yeah. Though the Lego sets are awfully tempting, I will admit).
I also have a million art or crafting supplies I have yet to use – paints, beads, sketchbooks, etc.
There’s a few different kinds of girl, trust me
Not to say that there aren’t geeky girls who ALSO are fashionistas – I know a few – but not ALL women are fashionistas.
Though yeah, there are women who are basically geeks FOR fashion – Lady Gaga for instance, could be easily labeled a combination fashion otaku/pop culture geek. That’s like 90% of her shtick, really (the other 10% is a mixture of Gay Pride Parade and catchy melodies you can dance to. Obviously.) If anyone has a “shelf full of shoes they never wear” it’s probably her
I can sympathize with Ethan here. I, too, am the worst gay friend ever.
I am such a horrible gayfriend that I am constantly laying with women. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?
I’m not gay and am not very good in the fashion department, but I can do shoes, so let’s see here…..both shoes are cute. Robin and Amber should get them.
Yeah, I’m right there with you, Ethan.
What’s this?! Glasso saving the day?! *mind blown*
Best thing about being housebound: no more Girl Shopping.
Cheezus.
I would so love to go shoe shopping with Amber and Robin, especially Robin.
Ethan is a crappy gay friend. They need someone like me, a crossdressing gay friend who knows how cute those shoes are and needs someone to tell me how cute my high heel white patent Mary Janes are.
sigh…
The high heel white patent Mary Janes do sound really cute, but I’ll but they show every little scuff mark and fleck of dirt.

I thought this was “Shortpacked!” and not “Shoepacked!”…

Unnamed characters = Star Fleet red shirts.
Wait…
…the store has DIGNITY?!?
Am I imagining things, or does the Shortpacked! readership consist almost entirely of homosexuals?
MuaHAHAHAHAHA!!!
No but seriously, you’re forgetting about all the girls and all of the straight people who comment when Amber and Robin do sexy things.

It certainly seems that way. Not that I mind, of course. I love gnerds.
I’m just like Ethan, and I’m a straight girl… hm.
What is all this lack of commenting on the fact that Ethan’s pokemon are all now fully healed? DID YOU THINK WE DIDN’T SEE, WILLIS?!
Why do I have a feeling they have a shelf full of shoes that they never wear. I think girls just simply collect them just like geeks storing stuff on their shelves.
“Girls” do? Way to stereotype

I swear I heard that as the power ranger communicator tone…
gay man, no interest in shoes…COMEDY!
This Is all Faz’s fault
Back at my old school, there were tons of (presumably) straight guys that were obsessed with shoes. I never really understood it myself.
I don’t understand why girls have such a love for shoes, boots, etc. And yes, I am a girl.
I LIKE SHOES!
