I just can't get into the restart. Since I'm an adult I can't really relate to them now that they've regressed in age nor can I really relate to John and Elly because I'll always remember then when they were parental figures older than me. That being said it was still one of the more realistic strips about family and growing up that actually had the kids grow up. I guess if we didn't care we wouldn't complain so much. Oh, and before the reboot, we were expected to believe that Elizabeth lived with a guy for an unspecified amount of time and didn't sleep with him. 'Cause that's how it works on Planet Lynn! Heh, heh, right on target.
