I’d say in that quantity it’ll do a fine job of taking the bodywork back to bare metal, if it’s actually metal to begin with.
Ultra car is reasserting his position as a grade-A asshole after all. He’s not going to go out of his way to use a solution that merely removes the stickers and leaves everything else intact. He’s just going to nuke the whole thing.
And a lot of exterior panels are made out of plastic these days … and there’s a good chance it’ll damage rubber, such as in the tyres, door/tailgate/glass seals, exhaust hanger, suspension components…
If you need to remove bumper stickers from your car, I’d recommend a two-stage process:
1) Get some detergent soap, wash the sticker and the area around it with detergent and water.
2) Put a tiny amount of gasoline in a bowl, and grab a paintbrush. Paint the gasoline on the stickers, and within an hour or two it should all be ready to come off.
Does acetone actually remove bumper stickers without damaging a car’s paint job?
Because if so I may need to purchase a few tubes for parking lot use.
It appears to have removed the bumper, so I wouldn’t recommend it….
I’m guessing it will strip the clear-coat; just a guess though. Hair dryers work great, but might be a problem in a parking lot.
Seeing as acetone is normally CLEAR, and the goo is purplish, I am guessing it is indeed taking the paint job with it.

Later on, I believe Ethan brings up the subject of his missing blue car to Ultra Car. So, I would say Acetone will destroy your car.
wonder what would happen if u stuck bumper stickers on ultracar
The universe would be sucked into the assholiness singularity that was created by a bumper-stickered Ultra Car, obviously.
yes, acetone WILL destroy a paint job. It won’t destroy the entire car though.
What did you try? Probably not but I”m the type of person who would, then: INSTANT REGRET.
In high enough concentrations it dissolves plastic.

I think you can see where this is headed.
Also the light clusters, rubbing strips, license plate…
Acetone is like real life dip isn’t it?

WD-40 works wonders on sticky residues, as well. It should do the trick just as easily.
Hmmm… Where would one place the bumper stickers if they didn’t have a car?
they are called “T-Shirts”
on your ass. bringing the analogy kind of full circle.
I see Ultra-Car is the vehicular version of Mike? Why is this not surprising to me?
Ultra Car, you beautiful cybernetic automobile, I could kiss you if you had lips!
Mikey and this car would get along smashingly
Literally.
Every problem can be solved with a bit of ‘cetone.
