Only if it was reflected off the inside of the spoon (concave). If it was reflected off the outside (convex) it would come out distorted, but right-side-up.
I like the shows that are more realistic about this deus ex machina stuff. I don’t remember what show it was but the guy said, “Can you zoom and enhance?” and the tech said, “I can’t add detail where there is none, but I might be able to clean it up a bit.” Then they actually saw something of use but it wasn’t anything as detailed as a face.
zoom. enhance.
I’m Batman
Damn, why doesn’t any of my imaging software come with an “Enhance” feature? That must be in the deluxe version.
I’m amazed no one has asked this, but why the hell was that guy holding a spoon out? Was he TRYING to reflect her image?
It’s Arkham. Everyone is crazy.
Wait wait wait, Batman said something that’s not “I’m Batman?” This is an outrage!
Wouldn’t the reflexion be upside down? I read somewhere that because of its bowled shape, spoons and other concave objects reflect images upside down.

Did anyone else see boobies (yes, walky-ism, no shut up) in panel 3?

This reminds me of a scene in Buffy the Vampire Slayer…
“Look! Right there, zoom in on that!”
“Its a Videotape.”
“So? They do it on television all the time.”
“Not with a regular VCR they don’t.”
I always loved that scene. And this reminded me of it, too.
I think Castle did an example of that before they jumped the shark
