   …so he came in a box bigger than HE is but he can’t get out of the door the box came through in the first place.

   …that, and for some reason I’m referring to a machine as a “he”.

   Some things were never meant to be explained, I guess.

     Ultra Car came in via the Loading Bay door, the door that freight trucks back up to for loading/unloading (notice the ‘garage’ style door semi-visible at the top of the doorway in that comic).
     The door shown in this comic looks to be a standard internal doorway, meaning it’s probably less than half the width.
