I work in a place that sells fabric and craft supplies - it's in the name SIGN and everything - but apparently on Halloween we are not allowed to dress up. This is a store that has half an aisle devoted to feather boas and masks, and a whole section of COSTUME PATTERNS. And we are not allowed to go to work in costume. Not even partial costume. Not even costume pieces we sell that time of year. Not even facepaint, which we sell around Halloween time. It's saddening, really. :( They deliberately hire people that love to sew or craft, and then you can't show it off on the clock! I know, right!?
