   I have a friend who is INSANE about TMNT and we did a quiz to see which turtles we were, each of my friends got a different one and it was scarily true. Love the Venus DeMilo joke at the bottom by the way. My friend had to explain it to me though.

     I don’t think in any version of Ninja Turtles said they’re blood related. Their origin is simply they came out of the pet store before mutaion. Didn’t say they came from the same mom turtle.

       Many continuities out-right state that the turtles are blood-related.

       And besides, if you find four baby turtles at one pet store, they’re gonna be related, dude.

         *Uses TMNT wikia, Google, and other NT sites* The only thing I see that brings up that they’re blood related or not is when Leo talk to Venus on the rooftop. One thing I do know is the manual for SNES Tournament Fighters said they’re not related.

     They’re brothers in the sense that Splinter is their father. They simply make a familial unit for survival.
