   About that second panel… there are lots of things that can give hope that are wrong. A good example would be Mike getting someone’s hopes up only to crush them later.

   Hope can be a very dangerous thing when misplaced.

   I like the way “nutsack” is the actual sound effect. I don’t know what it actually sounds like when a guy is kicked in the nuts, but I guess that’s probably a good thing. If you hear nutsacks being kicked so often that you’ve had to come up with an onomatopoetic word to describe the sound, there’s probably something wrong with your life.
