That remind me of "samurai pizza cats". When Tetsunoko sent the show to saban for translation the english transcript was unintelligible (or simply missing) So the American team just watched the show and came up with lines for the characters. To this day the American version is considered superior to the Japanese one.

Transformers WERE Japanese robot toys. The first two years were just imported, repurposed Japanese toys from various unrelated toylines, unified by a story Marvel Comics crafted.

i feel like its important to remind people, simply because im tired of people like her, that transformers was an american toyline before a tv show and it was an american cartoon before a japanese anime, its called generation 1, something i grew up on, and i happen to prefer those original, american names

Since when television ever show the subbed version of anime? Cybertron is better for a few reasons like they explain how Burning Justice happens and gives you a reason not to fast forward the stock footage scenes.

I won't lie. I prefer Super Sentai to Power Rangers by a long shot, but they are definitely two different shows. Power Rangers has its own unique campy value in spite of losing some of the original meaning and context of the Japanese show.
In other words, I agree.
