Interestingly enough, tons of people latched onto Pastafarianism and treated it like a normal religion (seriously or not, I don't know), sparking a mini-war between a group of Christians and the Pastafarians. The end result was articles like "Been blessed by his noodly appendage? Then contact the police and report the rape" and "The priests just want the raping to themselves." Please note that, while a parody religion, it is NOT a false religion, it is a real one, albeit a somewhat entertaining one, and warrants at least some respect as such. ALL HAIL HIS NOODLINESS!
