Actually, I think I read in one of Uncle John&#039;s Bathroom Readers that the &quot;d&#039;oh&quot; is from an old comedy routine from early days (silent movies) and it was put in the original Simpsons script as just some random reaction-noise. It was up to Dan Castellaneta to decide what to actually say and he decided on keeping it (and making is his own).

So I challange you (yes you; whether reading this comic for the first time like myself or a veteran re-reader) to research whether or not I have provided fairly accurate info!! Muwah ha ha ha haaa....!</description>
