       Beast Machines was awesome, until the moment you compare it to the Transformers mythos. Then it takes a huge shit all over every conceit the show ever had.

       Were it completely divorced from Transformers, I’d have loved it. But “learn to transform?” “purity of spark?” Fuck that hippie claptrap in my Transformers.

         Didn’t in Five Faces of Darkness showed that Cybertronians didn’t transform till way later.

         While I didn’t like the character derailment, one thing I like is I prefer BM’s canon version of heaven than the BW’s writers ideas of their heaven
