First and foremost, you’re probably the most versatile artist I’ve seen in the webcomic world. Also, I particularly like the inclusion of Animaniacs in this because rather than traveling time, they just inexplicably showed up to the damn manger singing.
Is that McGee?! Man, McGee and me nearly made an artist out of me. Of course, I wanted to draw the evil robot, Jawbreaker (from this episode), and not McGee. And somehow I was still terrible at building Rube Goldberg machines in Applied Science and Technology class in High School.
Only missing the Hanna Barbera’s The Greatest Adventure: Stories from the Bible. Good ol’ Derek, Margo, and Moki. I use to watch them at church along with Superbook and McGee and Me.
This comic inspired me to write Trouble Shooters [spinoff crossover between Superbook and Flying House].
OH MY GOD!
PEABODY AND SHERMAN!
Holy sh!t, you’re right.
Where’s the Doctor?
He’s keeping the aliens busy outside so they don’t interupt, of course.
Oh, the Doctor was involved. And that’s all we’re going to say about that.
Holy crap! Superbook and Flying House! I think I still have those videos somewhere. *twitches with nostalgia*
Loving the Animaniacs reference. ^_^
Am I the only one who sees Bill and Ted? Oh what an Excellant Adventure
Righteous.
The only reason Doc Brown isn’t there is because he went to December 25, 0000, when Jesus would be around six and a half.
There is no year zero. BC 1 went straight to AD 1.
And Jesus wasn’t born on Dec 25th. That’s winter solstice. Christmas was put there to compete with pagan religions.
I’m ejecting you from Planet Abed, with a…remote control…Christmas Pterodactyl!
But he’s not wrong, this is a well documented fact.
Your gravatar makes your comment more funny and less serious.
Actually, according to some study based on where the stars were then, Jesus was born in mid-June.
“because he went to December 25, 0000, when Jesus would be around six and a half.” Emphasis added.
This was already covered in the original comment.

Unfortunately, the Animaniacs reference is the only fictional reference I get.
There should be some nod to The Doctor though, perhaps just have the TARDIS parked next to one of the horses in the background.
well, we didn’t know The Doctor was there until the 208 (IIRC) christmas episode

And that’s when Wakko busts out with his drum solo.
History is going be mess up if they are going to visit other events in the Bible.
I thought I was the only person who knew what superbook was. Holy frikkin cow.

Hey its that one kid from the crazy bible stories where sampson killed everyone who talks to a camel all the time.
Its like killing Hitler stopping the Kennedy’s assassinations every time traveler has to make a stop.
