     I think this may be a different Suzuki, since Dr. Suzuki’s male and his theories are more down to earth crazy. Still crazy, but not quite so pie in the sky crazy and they’re often something to do with energy efficiency and climate change.

   Hmmm… The seatbelt joke reminds me of that kid’s show “Magic Schoolbus.” There is something about it that really *bugs* me. Maybe it’s coz the kids seemed so helplessly STUPID. And the way that woman talked to them didn’t help. It’s a perpetuation of the 1950′s stereotype of stupid human larvae and the patronising adults that had to shape them into useful members of society. BARF.
   I am so glad my daughter grew out of it years ago.
