My personal theory is that the Universe needed someplace to dump it’s cosmic hatred and brought back Mike because Nny was messed up enough already.

aaaaggghhh too much backstory! Just pressing “First” doesn’t do anything with this comic, there are all these prequel comics and… *curls into a mumbling, rocking, ball of confusion*

Unfortunately it’s worth it…. just spent all weekend reading backstory comics. Now re-reading Shortpacked and getting all the jokes I missed the first time round.

Start there and keep hitting the next button until things make sense!
:D I’ve just had to do this myself, and it’s definitely worth it.
This takes you through the three prequel comics Roomies, It’s Walky and Joyce and Walky.

I’m not sure it IS worth it.

If I could just have skipped all the strips revolving around Danny not having sex, and all the people concerned about Danny’s non sex life, I would say yes.

Admittedly I’ve never been to one that was near Mount Rushmore, but the idea of a college where much of anybody cared about one guy’s chastity, is way harder to handle than aliens.

The whole “sex is corrupt” thing is a bit much as well.

But if I mentally skip over that, the rest is pretty cool.

In the current run of bringbackroomies Willis talks a lot about his… lets call it naivete at the time of writing roomies.

Yeah, I pretty much skipped Roomies. Tried to get through it, couldn’t really, skipped over to It’s Walky, which was vastly more entertaining.

No, every strip is about that. Sometimes it’s just happening off panel.

The best part, Stephen Stills, is that the burn gets worse through time. Inflation, you know.

I wonder if we’re ever going to learn about Mike coming back to life. I have more hope that Lost’s 10-year anniversary whatever beyond Blu-ray have another epilogue that explain the rest of the mysteries.

I think it’s better if we never ever find out how Mike came back to life. Rule of funny.
